Inmates can only message civilians
The civilian will have the opportunity to approve correspondence or block the inmate
Both the civilian and inmate can then enjoy the ease of corresponding
Once we activate an inmate's account, we assign the inmate an email address that they need to add to their contact list. We will reach out to the inmate ourselves, but we also provide it to the inmate's civilian contacts in case they speak with the inmate before our message reaches them. Pass the email address along to the inmate if you can.
Inmate to inmate correspondence is strictly prohibited.
As soon as a payment is made, we get to work preparing the service for the inmate to use, and for that reason, we do not offer refunds.
We usually relay the messages we receive within a few minutes of receiving them. All messages going into or coming out of the inmate's prison go through security before being released to the inmate. On average, the security measures take one to one-and-a-half hours for the messages to be released.
Automatic or recurring payments are managed inside of your PayPal account.
If an inmate is on lockdown or for any other reason, the inmate wants to pause their service; you can do so by sending a text message to 702-745-4333 requesting that their remaining service be paused.
You can stop an inmate from contacting you by replying to the phone number that you received the message from, with the word BLOCK.
We specialize in text messaging and refer people to InmatePhotos.com if they want to send an inmate photos.
Yes, the staff here at InmateApp.com can see the messages, although we usually only look at them if there is a reason to, and we are trying to troubleshoot an issue. Other than us, the staff at the prison sees all incoming and outgoing messages.
If you are having trouble corresponding with the inmate, we want to hear about it. Please send screenshots of the correspondence to 702-745-4333 or give us a call at that number if you prefer.
